Homes in the off-road neighborhoods of Corolla require a 4-wheel drive vehicle to access. You will drive on the beach and sand roads . Airing your tires down to 16 - 20 PSI will make driving much easier.
Beach parking permits are required by Currituck County from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Rentals generally include one parking pass. You must return the permit at the end of your stay.
