Southern Swan Services LLC was founded by Kyle and his wife Jennifer, who have called Swan Beach home for nearly a decade. Before trading city life for coastal quiet, both built successful careers in technology in the heart of North Carolina’s Research Triangle Park. What ultimately drew them north to the off‑road beaches of the Outer Banks was the area’s rural charm—where nature sets the rhythm of daily life and the weather, tides, and wild landscape shape every day in meaningful ways.

Hands‑on work has always been part of their story. Jennifer has
contributed to more than 30 Habitat for Humanity builds, and Kyle holds
a North Carolina Residential General Contractor license. Together,
they’ve completed extensive renovations on one of Swan Beach’s original
homes, blending respect for the area’s history with thoughtful, modern
craftsmanship.
Kyle and Jennifer are also deeply committed to giving back to the
community they love. Jennifer serves as a volunteer firefighter with
Carova Beach Volunteer Fire & Rescue, while Kyle supports local
wildlife as the merchandise chairperson for the Network for Endangered
Sea Turtles (N.E.S.T.), managing online sales and stocking merchandise
in shops from Nags Head to Corolla. Both are active volunteers with
N.E.S.T.’s sea turtle stranding and nesting response teams, helping
protect the fragile coastal ecosystem that makes the Northern Outer
Banks so special.

Their passion for the Northern Outer Banks extends beyond the work they do—it’s reflected in the way they welcome others to experience it. Kyle and Jennifer love meeting the guests who stay at their properties and take pride in offering an authentic, locals‑style experience rooted in the beauty, simplicity, and character of the Northern Outer Banks.
